Yesterday, we welcomed more than 50 students and their parents/guardians to the Upper School for Locker Day! Students received their class schedules, met with members of our House Council, practiced opening their lockers, and walked their schedules to become familiar with the building before the first day of school. Meanwhile, parents and guardians learned more about what to expect as their children begin their journey in the Upper School and the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP).
A big thank you to our House Council students and staff for helping our newest Upper School students feel welcomed, prepared, and excited for the year ahead. We can't wait to see everyone back on the first day of school!

Parents and guardians, if you've recently moved or your mailing address has changed, please take a moment to update your information to ensure we have the correct address on file for your student. Throughout the school year, we mail important school communications to families, and we'd hate for you to miss anything due to an outdated address.
To get started, simply submit your new address through your Parent Sapphire Portal. Once we receive your request, we'll send you a Change of Address Form to complete the update to your student's records.
Thank you for helping us keep your information up to date so you don't miss important school news!

York Academy's Future Master Watershed Club wrapped up an incredible year with an end-of-year celebration at Sandy Point State Park on the Chesapeake Bay.
The three-day camping trip gave students the opportunity to celebrate their accomplishments, strengthen friendships, and deepen their connection to the waterways they work so hard to protect. Experiences like these inspire the next generation of environmental leaders and remind us that stewardship begins with local action.
Thank you to our dedicated volunteers and community partners for making this unforgettable experience possible! 💙
