Since it’s a time to be thankful, let’s give some extra shoutouts to the people we are thankful for!! Janice Laird is our next YCEA Membership Spotlight recipient! She has been the Negotiations Chair and lead the committee through 131 days without a contract this school year. As a social studies teacher at William Penn Senior High School, she teaches AP World History and Honors World History.
When asked why she teaches at York High her response was, “I love the diversity and acceptance in YCSD. It makes me believe that our society can be a better place. 😊”
Thank You Janice for leading YCEA through negotiations this year! 🥳🔥💯🏆‼️
