Today, we served our infamous holiday meal to students and staff! 🧡
Administrators, school board members, and team members from the Educational Service Center joined our hardworking food services crews to help in the kitchen as part of a long-standing tradition here at Central York.
If our Panthers looked a bit sleepy afterwards, that’s simply the sign of a holiday meal done exactly right. 🐾

We’re excited to partner with Keystone Oral Histories to bring more local stories and voices into what our students learn. The nonprofit organization offers powerful educational resources and coursework that highlight York County’s role in the Underground Railroad and the courageous individuals whose stories shaped our community’s history.
The content and resources provide meaningful opportunities for our middle school students to learn from authentic local narratives and deepen their understanding of the people and events that helped define our region.
Mr. Bryan Wade, Founder and CEO of Keystone Oral Histories, stopped by to officially present us with the academic resources. 🧡🐾

Roundtown hosted more than 300 dads during their Donuts with Dads breakfasts this month!
The school honored its dads and father figures, including grandpas, uncles, step-dads, and more, with donuts and fellowship.
Together, they played trivia before ending the morning with an entertaining Dad’s Life video. 🐾

Mrs. Norris’s Business Basics students at Central York High School have been interviewing business leaders throughout the semester, and one of their most recent guests was our very own Superintendent, Dr. Aiken!
During the Q&A session, students asked thoughtful questions about his role as Superintendent, his educational background, and his vision for the future of CY. Dr. Aiken shared that he wants every student and staff member to feel excited to come to school each and every day.
This crew sparked some fantastic conversations and asked some impressive questions, several of which we may need to borrow for our next staff development day! 🐾

PAWS FOR A CAUSE 🐾
This week, we launched the first-ever “Paws for a Cause”, an initiative aimed at getting our students out in the community and giving back!
In its first year, members of the Class of 2026 volunteered at the York County Food Bank and worked on grounds cleanup at Central York Middle School. Community is one of our five core values, and this opportunity allows our students to put that into action. Hours served during “Paws for a Cause” count towards National Honor Society Hours, as well as a service project under one of Pennsylvania’s Act 158 graduation pathways.
The project was led by senior Naomi Kehrl, one of our Student Board Representatives, and we hope to grow it next year as a lasting tradition of Panther service!
