Day 3 of Alumnae Appreciation Week! Thank you for those of you that have been participating! Today starts the countdown to the Day of Giving where you can donate to sending sisters on Alternative Summer Break (ASB) or our next Alumnae Day! ✰ Here is what one Alumnae said about her Sig Delt experience: “I am immensely grateful to Sig Delt for helping me to become a better version of myself than I ever thought possible. The support of my sisters allowed me to grow my self confidence and foster skills I use everyday in my career. The women who became my sisters are the kind of people I want standing beside me for the rest of my life.” -Cara, Beta Alpha

Starting tomorrow we will begin our Alumnae Appreciation Week! Stay tuned to learn more about what our Alumnae have been doing and how Sig Delt has helped them ✰ We asked many Alumnae sisters what was their favorite part of SDT and how has SDT helped them? One Sister said this:
“My favorite part about being in Sig Delt was being able to fit in, but stand out in my own way. An alumni, Lexi Vanwart, always called us the land of misfit toys. We were all weird and crazy in our own different ways but we all fit in together like the perfect puzzle piece. ❤️
Sig Delt has definitely helped me with social skills and presenting in front of large crowds. I learned business skills without having to take classes. I learned different ways of life and those skills helped me in future careers such as becoming a manager for Disney!”

Happy Thanksgiving sisters! 🦃
This weeks Throwback Thursday goes to Sister Nicole! She works for Walt Disney World as a coordinator (manager) of Big Top Souvenirs in Magic Kingdom!
She’s been living the life of a Floridian in the world of Fantasy. Currently getting her masters in English with a concentration for Project management!
Nicole: Sigma Delta Tau has definitely affected the way I see the rest of the world. How to be kind and learn the true meaning of hope and trust with one another. Also taught me great time management skills, how to speak to large crowds, and how to conduct myself in a business manner! ✨

For our Throwback Thursday this week, it goes to our alumni Sister Keegan. She works for her Dad and does paperwork type stuff and puts invoices into the computer; She adopted a cat and have been having a lot of fun with him!
Keegan: Joining sig delt was the best decision ever! I have so many great friends I still hangout with. Also sig delt shaped me into becoming a more outgoing person as well! ✨

This weeks Throwback Thursday goes to our amazing sisters Ashley McManus and Sam Wingate. Ashley is an Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions at Rosemont College and I’m in the process of getting her masters degree right now!
Sam and her actually talked about moving to philly together when they graduated college so Sam could work at CHOP and use her psych degree and she assured Ashley there were plenty of schools to find admissions jobs at 😂
Ashley: Sig Delt has definitely affected me in a lot of ways I never expected but the biggest thing Sig Delt gave me was my sisters of course. My closest friends to this day are my sisters and I’m so thankful for that. Just last weekend I went to visit my pledge sister. And even though Sam and I were soul mates far before either of us became sisters, being her pseudo big certainly made that bond feel even stronger. I still get together with her mom to catch up and every anniversary of her death and every year on her birthday I go to our favorite bakery and get a cake like we used to. Relationships like that don’t come around often and that was the goal when I joined Sig Delt-it was the whole reason I went through recruitment.
In honor of remembrance of Sam✨💛💙
