Registration just opened for our next Floating Soundbath on Sunday, September 6! 🌊

Relax, reset, and let the soothing sounds wash over you as you float your stress away. Participants will rest on supportive floats in the York JCC pool, guided into deep relaxation through immersive tones and vibrations.

To create the ultimate peaceful environment, the lights will be turned low, and certified lifeguards will be onsite for the entire event.

We have two sessions available, but space is highly limited and going fast. Secure your float below:

FACILITY UPDATE 3:52 PM: Due to a delay in the filtration system, the pool and pool area (saunas and whirlpool) will be CLOSED for the remainder of the day on Monday, August 3.

There will be no regularly scheduled aquatics classes, open swim, or lap swimming.

The pool and pool area will reopen at 5 AM on Tuesday, August 4. Thank you for your flexibility!

Please join us in recognizing and celebrating Patty Neidigh, Aquatics Director, on a truly remarkable milestone. Today, Saturday, August 1, marks Patty’s 30th work anniversary at the York JCC.

Patty has been an invaluable member of the York JCC team, bringing unwavering dedication, leadership, and passion to her role.

Over the past three decades, her work has touched countless lives. She has not only instructed an immeasurable number of individuals in the critical and lifesaving skill of swimming but has also mentored dozens of students and colleagues and served as a compassionate (and hilarious!) guide to generations of families.

As we honor Patty’s extraordinary 30 years, we are reminded of the Jewish value of Hakarat Hatov, recognizing the good, expressing our deep and lasting gratitude for the positive impact she has made on our entire community.

We are incredibly grateful for Patty’s thirty years of commitment. Her impact on the health, safety, and joy of our York community and beyond is incalculable. We are beyond blessed to have her on the York JCC team.

It's a puzzly kind of Shabbat today! 🧩

The York JCC was thrilled to welcome over 15 teams of puzzle enthusiasts to this month's Jigsaw Puzzle Competition. All teams received the same 500 pieces Ravensburger puzzle to see who could be the first to complete it. And it was an intense competition!

This 60 to 90 minute program will cover:

• how stress, cognitive changes, and family dynamics can increase vulnerability
• practical steps to reduce risk before problems arise

The countdown to basketball season is officially on! We are thrilled to bring Youth Basketball back to the York JCC courts this fall.

Youth Basketball for ages 4 - 5 and 6 - 9 kick off this October on Monday nights with Coach Justin. Your young athletes will build fundamental skills, learn teamwork, and have a blast.
