✨ Monday Motivation for My Teacher Friends ✨

The first week back doesn’t have to be perfect—it just has to be intentional. 💛

Instead of trying to set up everything today, focus on three wins:
✔️ Create one organized space.
✔️ Prepare one engaging lesson.
✔️ Build one meaningful connection.

Your students won’t remember perfectly labeled bins… they’ll remember how you made them feel.

If you’re still stocking your classroom, I’ve linked some of my favorite teacher organization must-haves in my Amazon storefront that make back-to-school a little less stressful. 📚✏️

Here’s to a year of grace over perfection, progress over pressure, and students who know they belong. ❤️

As this momma sends her 9-year-old off for his final year of elementary school, my heart feels all the things. ❤️

As an administrator, I know how important this year is. But as a mom, I know these conversations around the dinner table matter even more than the grades on the report card.

As we head into a new school year, here are a few additional questions that can open the door to meaningful conversations with your kiddos:

🍎 Who did you sit with at lunch today?
💛 Did you notice someone who might need a friend?
😊 What made you smile today?
🤔 What challenged you today, and how did you handle it?
⭐ What are you most proud of today?
🙋 What question did you ask today?
🙏 How can I pray for you this week?
🎉 Did you make someone else’s day a little better?
📚 What is one thing you learned that surprised you?
❤️ Is there anything on your heart that you want to talk about?

Our kids don’t always need us to solve every problem—they need to know we’re a safe place to land.

Here’s to backpacks packed, new beginnings, and a year filled with growth, grace, and lots of memories. Praying for every student, family, teacher, administrator, and staff member as they begin another school year. May our children know they are deeply loved, capable of great things, and never alone.

Tell me you’re an ADHD mom raising an ADHD kiddo without telling me... 💙

You spend hours creating systems. The bins are labeled. The reminders are set. The routines are practiced.

..and somehow the clothes still end up on the floor, the toothpaste cap is missing, and you’re wondering if anyone even noticed all the effort you put in.

The truth is, ADHD isn’t a lack of trying. It’s a different way of navigating the world.

Some days our house feels more chaotic than calm. But I’ve learned that success isn’t measured by a spotless floor or a capped toothpaste tube. It’s measured in the little wins—the moments of independence, the growth, the resilience, and knowing my kiddo feels loved through it all.

That’s also why I love sharing Momma’s LittleRittle List. Every item I add is something that helps support our ADHD journey—visual timers, organization tools, sensory favorites, and practical finds that make life just a little easier for both of us.

If your house looks a little like this too... you’re not failing, mama. You’re raising an incredible kid while learning right alongside them.

We’re not striving for perfection.
We’re building progress. One messy day at a time. 🤍
