Welcome to the CSY Preschool Team Mrs. Hodson (PK4 aide), Mrs. Burns (PK Aide), and Mrs. Clegg (PK4 Teacher)! 🙂

As we wrap up our first week of school, we’re excited to welcome some new faces to our CSY Preschool team!

The preschool years are filled with so many special firsts, and we’re grateful for the staff God has brought to CSY to help our littlest Defenders learn, grow, and discover just how deeply they are loved by Him.

Please join us in welcoming these wonderful staff members as they begin their first year at CSY! We’re praying for a year filled with lots of learning, laughter, sweet memories, and plenty of little moments that make a big impact.

As we celebrate Independence Day, we pause to thank God for the freedoms we enjoy and the countless blessings He has graciously given us.

We are grateful for the opportunity to learn, serve, worship, and grow together as a community rooted in Christ. May this holiday be filled with faith, family, laughter, and moments that remind us of God’s goodness.

The boys and girls enjoyed a visit from the York Area United Fire & Rescue. Our students learned how to react safely during a fire and how to “Stop, Drop, and Roll”. They also learned firefighters are friendly helpers that can keep us safe. Thank you to all first responders for everything you do to keep our community safe!

Mrs. Potteiger’s Pk4 Class enjoyed making Mother’s Day presents last week. Thank you to Mrs. Adams for visiting the preschool, showing the children how to create floral arrangements, and for donating all of the beautiful flowers!🌸

Mrs. Morris’s Prek2 Class has been learning about different forms of transportation. They ended this learning unit by exploring a school bus. The children loved singing “The Wheels on the Bus” during their bus ride around the school campus, while Mr. Vann added the sound effects such as, “the horn on the bus goes beep, beep, beep!”🙂
