CSY Preschool

The boys and girls enjoyed a visit from the York Area United Fire & Rescue. Our students learned how to react safely during a fire and how to “Stop, Drop, and Roll”. They also learned firefighters are friendly helpers that can keep us safe. Thank you to all first responders for everything you do to keep our community safe!

Mrs. Potteiger’s Pk4 Class enjoyed making Mother’s Day presents last week. Thank you to Mrs. Adams for visiting the preschool, showing the children how to create floral arrangements, and for donating all of the beautiful flowers!🌸

Mrs. Morris’s Prek2 Class has been learning about different forms of transportation. They ended this learning unit by exploring a school bus. The children loved singing “The Wheels on the Bus” during their bus ride around the school campus, while Mr. Vann added the sound effects such as, “the horn on the bus goes beep, beep, beep!”🙂

Our students have been waiting patiently for the last few weeks for the eggs to hatch in Mrs. Potteiger’s classroom. Last week, the children were finally able to meet and hold the new chicks.🐥

Yesterday, Mrs.Potteiger’s PreK4 Class had a special opportunity to experience a Passover meal to help them learn about the Last Supper, and how Jesus washed the feet of the disciples as an example of how we should care for one another. Thank you Kristen Adams for preparing this meaningful experience for our PreK4 students.
