SCHS Seniors, it’s time for your senior portraits!

Please read the information below carefully so you are prepared for your photo.

📅 Date: Thursday, September 3, 2026
⏰ Time: 8:00 AM–10:00 AM

👔 Portrait Attire

Gentlemen: Please bring or wear a plain white T-shirt to wear underneath the tux provided for your portrait.

Ladies: Please bring or wear a black tank top or camisole to wear underneath the black drape provided for your portrait.

📷 Please note: These senior portraits are HEADSHOTS ONLY.

Each senior will have the following photos taken for the yearbook:
2 photos in the tux or drape
2 photos in cap & gown

🏫 Important: Students must come to school and remain at school after their senior portraits are taken. Portrait appointments are not an early dismissal from school.

🏈🐆 JAGUAR NATION, WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT! 🐆🏈

The Sumter Central High School Jaguars are gearing up for an exciting 2026 football season, and we're asking our amazing community to help fuel our student-athletes!

This season, we'll provide pre-game meals for approximately 55 individuals before each of our 10 varsity football games, including our players, coaches, and cheerleaders. A good meal helps ensure our students are fueled, focused, and ready to compete with pride.

We're inviting businesses, churches, organizations, families, and community supporters to sponsor a team meal or make a donation. Every contribution—large or small—makes a meaningful difference and shows our student-athletes that Jaguar Nation stands behind them.

Facility Closure Notice

Due to a power outage caused by lightning during last night’s storms, Sumter Central High School (SCHS) is closed today.

District staff are working with the utility company to restore power as quickly as possible. We will provide updates as additional information becomes available.
