“This is the day the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it.” Tonight we will go trick or treating. We don’t celebrate satan or evil we just dress up and get candy for fun. “This is the day the Lord has made.” It’s not satan’s day no matter what he declares or does. Those who follow him might use this day for evil but this day is still the Lord’s day. Today no matter what evil goes on behind closed doors and no matter what the enemy unleashes this is STILL the day the Lord has made and there’s power in the name of Jesus! Jesus,
“Your name is the highest
Your name is the greatest
Your name stands above them all
All thrones and dominions
All powers and positions
Your name stands above them all.”
I declare the name of Jesus on this day over my community our nation and the world! “This is the day the Lord has made.”

Conversation after Cade’s last football game last night:

Cade- “ Some of my teammates were fighting last night and I was like, Bruh why are you fighting? You’re on the same team?”

Me-“I want you to remember that exact advice when you’re married one day.”

I wonder how many people need this simple reminder.

It’s been 1,882 years since, Columbus landed on American soil. If he knew what has transpired on this new land since then I think it would blow his mind!

Because of his bravery, we have all been raised in a land of opportunity and a land with religious freedoms. I’m not proud of some of the things our forefathers did but I am incredibly grateful that I was born in this country and that courageous brave men persevered for freedom!

We are facing uncertain times. We seem to be battling each other instead of working together for the greater good. We seem to have forgotten all that we have because of the sacrifices so many have made.

Today I want to take a minute to say I’m still proud to be an American! I am still grateful for all who have lost their lives for my freedoms, and I am still trusting God for the future!

If who our president is matters to you I want to encourage you to do your due diligence. Do not vote for a party. Vote for what you believe is right. Get the facts from reliable sources, but most importantly pray and ask God to guide your vote!

No matter who is elected in the upcoming election, let’s come together on the things that we can agree on and set aside our differences. Do not let fear reign in your life! This country was founded by courageous men and courage will be needed to continue!

If you remember, one thing in the months to come remember to be kind.
