Congratulations to two Buena Vista students for being finalists in the Chapman Holocaust Art and Writing Contest. Freshman, Hyde Nguyen, created a beautiful piece of art highlighting people throughout history who have risen above persecution, and Junior Lelatasiosamoa (Lela) Siufanua won 2nd place for her video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kXdxjbedGLs) about Renee Firestone's life and commitment to telling her story so no stories are forgotten. Buena Vista Virtual Academy is so proud of our contest winners, our coordinator Ms. Dana Leon, and all of our student participants, including Eli Klingthong and Ana and Sara Chupinsky. These students are just some of the amazing people who attend Buena Vista Virtual Academy. We are very proud of them!
