📚 Superintendent Dr. Soler proudly welcomed 32 new teachers to Yonkers Public Schools this week!

As part of the V.I.S.I.O.N.S. (Viable Instructional Strategies in Orienting New Staff) training, our newest educators are connecting with Associate Superintendents and Executive Directors responsible for each subject area. They’re learning about innovative instructional tools, effective strategies, and best practices for teaching and learning across YPS.

We’re excited to have you as part of the family and can’t wait to see the impact you’ll make in the classrooms!

Yonkers Public Schools building administrators began the school year with a three-day retreat focused on learning, collaboration, and preparation for a successful year ahead!

At the heart of the Administrators’ Retreat was the - our shared commitment to making every student and family feel welcomed, valued, and supported in our schools.

They participated in engaging trainings and presentations, including CPR, operational priorities, new curriculum initiatives, and more!
