Sacred Heart High School Founded in 1923 by the Capuchin Franciscans, Sacred Heart is a secondary institute of co-education. True education is a work of a lifetime.

Sacred Heart High School is a Catholic parish secondary institute of co-educational learning. It provides an environment that stimulated the total spiritual, intellectual, moral, emotional, social, and cultural development of every student. By discovering God’s teachings and His teachings and His Church, the student is given a foundation which will guide him/her to function effectively as a mature

Christian in today’s world. Quality education is promoted and encouraged through motivation, creative teaching, and a meaningful learning environment. In participating in the education of a young person, the school acts as a bridge between the home and the Church.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our first Young Alumni Cohort event of the 2026–2027 academic year: Burgers & Brews!

Alumni from the Classes of 2002–2003 and 2015–2017 gathered at Tuck’d Away Bar & Grill in Tuckahoe for an evening of wings, brews, and plenty of stories from their time at the Heart.

The conversation was so good that what was supposed to be an 8:30 p.m. wrap-up turned to a 9:30+ p.m. evening! Clearly, there was more catching up to do.

We also heard some great ideas for future Young Alumni events, including pickup games, trivia nights, bowling, and more. What would you like to see next? Share your ideas with Lily Yuscak, Director of Advancement, at [email protected].

Hello, Sacred Heart Young Alumni Community!

We’re excited to relaunch the Sacred Heart Young Alumni Cohort, open to graduates from the Class of 2000 to the present!

The cohort is an opportunity to reconnect with classmates, build community, attend fun and affordable events, and help shape the future of Sacred Heart.

We’re looking for alumni who want to:

Reconnect with classmates and families
Help plan events and traditions
Meet fellow young alumni
Become the next generation of Sacred Heart leaders, volunteers, ambassadors, and supporters
Couldn’t make our August 18 planning session? Join us this Monday, August 24 at 12 p.m. EST!

We’ll continue planning our first event, Burgers & Brews, happening Wednesday, August 26, from 6:30–8:30 p.m. at Tuck’d Away Bar & Grill in Tuckahoe, NY.
