✨ Celebrating the YPIE Community!

At this year’s YPIE Gratitude Celebration, we expressed our thanks to the dedicated volunteers and partners who make a lasting impact on the lives of YPIE students.

We were honored to present the Wendy R. Nadel Volunteer Legacy Award to Stacy Wilder in recognition of her dedication to YPIE students for more than 15 years and the countless young people she has helped tell their stories.

We also proudly recognized our Volunteers of the Year, including YPIE career coaches, essay coaches, and mentors who support students on their paths to college and career success.

Special thanks to Cross County Center for generously hosting this event, and to Zuppa Restaurant and Yonkers Brewing Company for catering this special evening.

Thank you to the Steven & Alexandra Cohen Foundation for their generous support of YPIE Majors and our students!

Their grant helps remove barriers to participation by providing transportation and program supplies that connect students to tutoring, college visits, career exploration, academic competitions, and hands-on learning experiences through YPIE Majors.

We're grateful for their generosity and for helping YPIE students on their path to college and career success.

Congratulations to the 34 YPIE + Yonkers Public Schools sophomores who showcased their research projects.

A special shoutout to Ada, who earned 3rd Place in Chemistry, and Sumaiya, who earned 3rd Place in Medicine & Health!

Our thanks to Regeneron for their longtime support of YPIE Science Research students as they explore their interests, conduct original research, and pursue future college and career opportunities in STEM.

🎉✨ What an incredible YPIECon Yonkers!

YPIE students showcased the culmination of a year in their YPIE Majors through presentations in Science Research, Robotics, Speech & Debate, Entrepreneurship (including Spiral Giving), Finance, and Film.

We then celebrated our graduating seniors and recognized student achievements during our Awards Ceremony. One of the most inspiring moments of the day was watching students cheer one another on and celebrate each other's accomplishments.

Congratulations to these outstanding YPIE and Yonkers Public Schools students—we are so proud! 💙

Thank you to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Westchester & The Bronx for their generous support of YPIE students.

Their grant provided computers, robotics supplies, and other academic resources for the YPIE College Zone and YPIE College Centers, helping young people explore their interests, develop real world skills, and prepare for success in college and careers.
