Thank you for making our YPIE Gala a spectacular celebration of students and their pathways to college and career success!

YPIE students were at the heart of the evening, from our Student Showcase to inspiring remarks from YPIE alumna Natalie Maldonado, now a first-grade teacher pursuing her master’s degree in education.

We were proud to honor YPIE Board Member and longtime volunteer Shari Turell for her extraordinary dedication to YPIE students and PwC US for its commitment to expanding opportunities for young people.

We’re grateful to Westchester County Executive Ken Jenkins, Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano, Yonkers Majority Leader John Rubbo, and the many officials, volunteers, partners, supporters, and friends of YPIE who joined us.

🎓 Our YPIE seniors are officially getting ready for their college application journey! At YPIE College Camp, students connected with local college admissions representatives, learned how to write professional emails, worked on the Common App, and gained the tools they need to confidently take their next steps toward college. But the preparation didn’t stop there! The following week, our seniors continued building their college and career readiness with a resume workshop!

🎓 We also welcomed our YPIE Scholars back to the YPIE College Zone for our kickoff events! Students left with free school supplies and got to mix and mingle with their YPIE Majors teachers and peers! We are so excited to start this school year with our amazing students!
