🚨 WARNING: HE’S HUNGRY… VERY HUNGRY! 🚨

Our candy-loving monster made his GRAND APPEARANCE at School 16 TODAY, and our little Eagles have already started feeding him! 🦅💙💛

But guess what?! 👀 His belly is STILL rumbling, and he’s asking for MORE! 🍫🍬🍭

Our School 16 Scholastic Book Fair is coming up October 19–23, and families can make shopping even easier by setting up a Scholastic eWallet! 💳📖

eWallet is a safe, cash-free way for students to shop the Book Fair. Parents, family members, and friends can add funds ahead of time, and students can use their balance when they visit the fair.

Our Fall Book Fair is coming up, and we would love some extra helping hands to make it a great experience for our students!

📅 October 19–23, 2026
⏰ 9:00 AM–3:00 PM

🌙 Evening Hours:
Thursday, October 22
⏰ 4:00 PM–7:30 PM

Volunteers can help students shop, organize books, assist with checkout, and keep the Book Fair running smoothly.

🎒📚✨ WELCOME TO THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL, SCHOOL 16! ✨📚🎒

The big day is finally here! 💙🦅

This morning, our hallways will once again fill with little footsteps, new backpacks, big smiles, nervous butterflies, familiar faces and lots of excitement. A brand-new school year and a brand-new adventure are officially beginning! 🥰✨

🌟 To our students:
Walk through those doors knowing that you are loved, supported and capable of AMAZING things! Be kind. Be brave. Ask questions. Try something new. Help someone who needs a friend. Make mistakes and learn from them. Most importantly, always remember to BE YOU! ❤️

Whether today is your very first day at School 16 or you already know these hallways well, you belong here! 🦅

🎒😂 SCHOOL 16 PARENTS TONIGHT… 😂🎒

It’s the night before the first day of school, and across School 16 households, the struggle is REAL! 🤣

✅ Backpacks packed
✅ Outfits laid out
✅ Sneakers ready
✅ Lunches planned
✅ Alarm set
✅ Backup alarm set 😂⏰

Meanwhile, the kids:

“Can I have a snack?”
“I’m not tired.”
“Where’s my water bottle?”
“Where’s my other shoe?” 👟
“What time do I have to wake up?!” 😩

Parents: WE’VE BEEN TELLING YOU ALL WEEK! 😂

Somewhere, a parent is labeling supplies at the last possible second. ✏️ Someone just realized they forgot something on the supply list. 😭 And someone’s child will absolutely wake up tomorrow and suddenly hate the outfit they picked TONIGHT. 🤦‍♀️😂

But underneath all the chaos, there’s something pretty special about tonight. ❤️

Tomorrow our hallways fill up again. Little feet walk through those doors. 🎒 Friends reunite, new friendships begin, and our teachers welcome the little personalities they’ll spend the year helping learn and grow. 🍎📚

Parents, take the pictures—even if they complain! 📸😂

Students, get some sleep and get ready to LEARN, LAUGH, GROW & SHINE! 🌟
