As we begin the 2026–2027 school year, it’s time to put a new School 16 PTA Board in place!

Our first step is forming a PTA Nominating Committee to help identify and nominate candidates for our PTA Board positions.

We’re inviting all School 16 parents and families to join us for a short Zoom meeting to learn more about:

💙 Serving on the Nominating Committee
💛 PTA Board positions and how to get involved
💙 Ways you can support our school community this year
💛 What the nomination and election process looks like

There is no commitment required just to attend! If you’re curious, have questions, or have ever thought about becoming more involved with our PTA, we would love to have you join us.

Our commemorative “Forever School 16” shirts are now available for all current 6th and 7th grade students and families! This special keepsake honors our students as they transition to their next educational journey and gives everyone a chance to proudly represent the School 16 family one last time.

Come be a part of our meeting, stay informed, share ideas, and help make a difference in our school community. We are also looking for volunteers to join our Nomination Committee!

🌱 After the meeting, stay and join us for our Family Night: Recycled Roots from 5:30–7PM! Enjoy a fun evening filled with creativity, family activities, and learning about recycling and sustainability together.
