Oh what a spectacular concert of Metropolitan Youth Orchestra of New York in Carnegie Hall today! Bravo bravissimo to incredible leader and Executove Director Anthea Jackson for such terrific success! Bravo to MYO’s fantastic conductors of seven orchestras that played today: Maestro Phil Preddice, Felicya Schwarzman, Scott Zarchy, Scott Stickley, Catherine Birke, Peggy Ho and Michelina Sobolewski. Bravo to all my spectacular violin and viola students who played today on the big stage of CARNEGIE HALL: What a wonderful day it is. Looking forward to hearing our fantastic Stony Brook University Orchestra play this coming Tuesday Feb 28th, under baton of Dr. Susan Deaver and with my violin student Elvina Liu playing Mozart violin concerto. Concert is fun, FREE and not long. Make sure to come with your kids! It’s specially designed for them since it’s family concert.
