Educators, bring fishing into your classroom!
Join AGFC for a free Fishing in the Natural State Certification workshop. Educators are welcome to attend this six-hour professional development opportunity, which uses fishing to teach science, math, art, and language arts.

The curriculum focuses primarily on students in grades 4 through 12 but can be adapted for other ages. After completing the workshop and submitting an application, participants will receive an eight-unit curriculum and an educator kit to help teach lessons on fish identification, fish anatomy, aquatic habitats, human impact, and more.

Bring your used hunting, fishing, trapping, recreational shooting, camping or boating equipment to sell and shop around! Goods can range from new to vintage/collectible items such as wood decoys, duck calls or antique fishing lures. We also welcome handmade goods, such as knives or crappie jigs. Grab your shotgun and join us on the range. Trap shooting is open to the public at the Fred Berry Crooked Creek Nature Center Shooting Range for just $5 per round.
