Breath of Life Words

The next stationing planet will be Chiron, the Wounded Healer, at 16 1/2 degrees of Aries on July 19. Chiron’s sojourn through the sign of Aries may be considered to be an 8 year long activation of what we call the “Sacred Warrior.”

There are many kinds of warrior. Here, we are referring to male energy, which expresses in many ways. Some of those ways include hostility expressed in order to achieve an agenda, or agendas. Also included might be a mature male expression, or assertion, to achieve harmony for the good of all.

As stated above, we are talking about the Wounded Healer, and this comes from a transformation of the first kind of warrior into something like the second kind of warrior.

This energy is activating the peoples of our country, and will be for some time. So we really need to ask ourselves, as a group and individually, what kind of male energy do we want to live with on a day to day basis?

As we near the 4th of July, who do we (you) really want to be? Wounding that is currently at the forefront of our experience has the ability to be healed and transformed into the Sacred Warrior.

Breath of Life Words

As we move ever closer to our national birthday on the Fourth of July, let me mention one positive aspect of the US Natal Chart. The powerful agent of change, Uranus, is to be found in the 6th House of said chart, and it lives in the sign of Gemini.

The 6th House is about diligent work and service, and it also pertains to healing. So the placement there of Uranus in Gemini lends us the ability to react and respond well to adversity and gives us the ability to perform intelligently under pressure.

While I have not seen America use utilize these inherent capabilities within recent memory, I do recall how America worked together as a nation during World War 2, on the battle fronts and at home with supporting industrial efforts. I’ve always thought we were a plucky lot who can wiggle out of a jam, often by pulling together and pooling resources.

But I have not seen any “working together” scenarios in the last several years.

These months, however, we have Jupiter on a strong sextile to the Natal Uranus by transit. Here is an opportunity for the citizens to rally to the greater cause of our societal health. If only we could find some common ground to focus our energies. Climate devastation and social liberties just might fit the bill!

Breath Of Life Words

Another aspect about the United States Natal Chart is a planetary placement I have often mentioned in my writings and videos, and that would be our 4th House Chiron (Wounded Healer) in the sign of Aries. So for us, Chiron is in the sign of Aries, so it produces a need for healing centered in the Sacred Warrior archetype.

Along with Aries being the sign on the cusp of the 4th House, the US Chiron in Aries gives us a warlike vision of who we are as a society (hence the Star Spangled Banner). One serious problem with this philosophy is that we are always looking for an enemy. We are addicted to violence and war, so much so that we are now in the beginnings of a civil war with ourselves.

I find it fascinating that on the exact day that Roe vs. Wade was overturned the aggressive, male-driven planet, Mars, was exactly conjunct our Chiron by transit. The 4th House is the realm of the mother, and nurturing, so this looks like an assault driven by patriarchal ideology. Instead of defending our nation to safeguard our lives and our right of choice we are attacking ourselves.

Whether or not this seems like good use of our energy, I will let you decide for yourself. But let me finish by saying that Chiron will conjunct the US Chiron next year by transit (Chiron Return). Do not allow yourselves to even imagine that this issue, along with many others surrounding it, are resolved!

Along with abortion as the issue of the day, gun violence is every bit as important as a totally related crisis.

This Fourth of July let us pray for healing at our core and at our heart, and may we come to know peace.

Breath of Life Words

With the Fourth of July on the horizon, I want to share a couple more aspects of the United States Natal Chart and some current transits that are related to the issues we are facing during these unarguably troubled times.

The US has a Sagittarius Ascendant (or Rising Sign). We are stamped with a restless need to be on the move, always intent on what is around the corner. There is a national impatience, and a lack of tolerance for what might delay the journey. On the shadow side, Sagittarius can get lost in ideology and a false belief in its own ‘rightness.’

The Sag Rising is picked up by our 9th House Neptune and Lilith, conjunct in Virgo. The 9th House is Sagittarian by nature. The Neptune placing says we have a spiritual mandate for healing all who live here or come here. The Lilith, however, says there will be hell to pay for us to achieve progress in that area.

We just experienced ‘Neptune Opposition’ last year and the year before, much like we did in the 1850’s leading up to the Civil War. If you think about it, the parallels are striking. Battles for equality, liberty, and freedom were being fought, much like they are being challenged again today.

We are still in ‘Pluto Return,’ so we are in a rebirth cycle. This is not a rebuild, it is a rebirth! For our birthday, could we please be given the gift of Truth?

Maybe we need to give it to ourselves.

Small blessings bubble forth from the depths. If you look too close, you’ll miss them. If you look not at all, you’ll miss them. If you look with your heart, you’ll feel them as gifts from your soul.

Deep within you, you know your truth. Messages of that truth well up as reminders. You remember you are loved, all of a sudden. Your heart swells with the memory.

Your cat rubs up against your leg. Bird song hits your ear. Fire flies flash in the dusk. The moon trickles in through your sky light.

If you are not there for you, you miss the magic, the outer reflections of your soul’s love.

For the Summer Solstice, the Crab walks the dunes of life sideways, at seemingly random angles. We humans, looking to the horizon of events, need to watch our steps, for we are after what is possible. It is easy to trip over what actually is!

But this is an awesome time of year to stretch out to our truth; it is just helpful to realize that the Crab’s Path is uneven. We must be mindful of the emotional and the psychological. We may be following our dreams, but the path to realization of what can be is not achieved at straight angles!

Gemini turns into Cancer at the Summer Solstice, and we enter the cosmic kitchen where we can be nourished by spiritual food. The Earth is friendly, and she extends herself to us with more time to be with ourselves and our families.

At Solstice, we set a tone for how we will be nurtured throughout the year, so let us turn our energies to nurturing and healing. Here lies the support for what we want to achieve, what we want to reach our for.

So let our prayers echo these sentiments these 2 or 3 days. Let us connect with spirit with our intentions, and let those intentions be loving and full of kindness.

A directly focussed Mercury has returned to Gemini, the sign in which it went retrograde several weeks ago. Conversations may now become less argumentative. Mercury in Ta**us encouraged disagreements about value systems and money, while now in Gemini communications should prove easier and more open.

The Moon, meanwhile, has entered Capricorn, which is more businesslike and practical. So the mood now may flow from thoughts and feelings into a continuity of ‘open-minded practicality.’ Not saying everything is perfect, but today is a good day for thinking, feeling, and acting to move in unison.

Tomorrow, when the Moon conjuncts Pluto, intensity will build. So for now, lend your voice to what feels right about your projects.

Tomorrow is another day.

As we near the sacred time of the Summer Solstice, a Full Moon in Sagittarius energized us this morning. While this lunar event of June always brings an opportunity to expand our consciousness, today’s Full Moon comes on a square to Neptune in the Sign of Pisces.

It so happens that Neptune is the next outer planet to station, set to go retrograde on the 28th of the month. So today’s Full Moon is locking energies with an intensifying Neptunian presence. Sagittarius energies are largely mental, while Neptune, especially in Pisces, is more psychic, spiritual, and psychological.

Bringing the heart and the mind together today is suggested. See what is presented to you as these energies surge through you at this time. Watch your tendencies in how you deal with your circumstances. Call on your Spirit to learn what this potentially lively day has for you in the long run.

The Stars are aligned for “breakthrough activities” now and for the next 3 days or so. Mars is journeying through its “ruler sign” of Aries, and this piece of timeline encourages pushing forward over responses from reflection and restraint.

So far, so good, but Mars is at this time aligning with Chiron, the Wounded Healer, at 15 degrees of Aries. So right now in these energies, there are likely issues from the past that may need healing or transforming. So now, awareness comes into play. Problems now are seated in the past, and they are coming up to be understood and conquered.

So this conjunction is about healing the Sacred Warrior within each and everyone of us. Let us come into our power through mindfulness, inquiry, and proactive measures, and be blessed!

Today is a good day to feel and experience the deepness and richness of life. The Moon is going through the sign of Scorpio, and this lends us a sense of the textured power of life. Inner yearnings and passions abound. The outer world awaits a transformed perspective, one where outer deeds match your inner truth.

If you feel pressure, it is pressure to change. The change would be about alignment of the inner and outer worlds in you life. Think about your inner truth and take a chance- act as if you are living in alignment with your soul.

Call upon the blessings of spirit today with your deepened emotions welling up within your being.

After seeing some interest yesterday about my comments on Neptune, let me just do a brief follow up.

Many people today are placing high value on building strong spiritual perspectives in life. If you are reading this article, you probably are involved in doing so! Great! But I wish this kind of energy was the prevalent vibe.

The planet Neptune is about spiritual energy that has the power to unite us. We all come from the Source, and Neptune would have us unite in spirit right here on Earth. Neptune seeks to dissolve the ego in favor of union with the divine!

Well, we have wars about stuff, and we have wars about what we believe! So, maybe I’m idealistic! Maybe the material plane is here to trigger spiritual growth!

Breath of Life Words:

When Neptune advanced into Pisces, back in 2011, I had so many hopes for humanity. Always the optimist when it comes to possibilities glimpsed from the Stars, I saw a chance for us to dissolve our materialistic tendencies in favor of more spiritual approaches to life on the planet Earth. I anticipated a more soft perspective about life to emerge collectively, somehow. And I thought, with the ending of the Mayan Calendar on the Winter Solstice on 2012 that humanity would begin to embrace more enlightened visions on the way to the New Earth.

I still have hopes, and I am aware that myriad light workers and Earth Angels are indeed promoting peace and advancing more loving ways of being, even as I write this morning.

This month of June, Neptune is slowing to go retrograde on the 28th, and yet I wish there were more encouraging signs. For the most part, materialism is even worse than it was, and now, as our economy topples, our thoughts are being forced towards money. So be it.

Still, all gifts come from on high, so this month let us remember that the Source, the Universe, God, or Spirit, is what feeds us. And let us be kind and gracious with each other!
