OCTOBER IS BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH! 🎀

The Omega Beta Omega Chapter joins communities across the nation in raising awareness about breast cancer and the importance of early detection.

We encourage women to prioritize their breast health through regular screenings, knowing their family history, and understanding their personal risk factors.

Early detection can save lives! Take time this month to schedule your recommended screenings, encourage a loved one to do the same, and spread awareness.

The ladies of the Omega Beta Omega Chapter were proud to support the first National Night Out in Yazoo City by assisting with serving food to the community.

National Night Out is all about bringing communities together, strengthening relationships, building partnerships, and promoting unity between neighbors and local law enforcement.

We enjoyed the opportunity to serve, connect, and fellowship with our community because service and sisterhood extend beyond our chapter walls!

National Night Out celebrations are happening across our communities! Which location did you attend? Let us know in the comments!

National Hazing Prevention Week. Champions Don’t Haze. Be the Leader. Protect Our Sisterhood.

09/21/2026

The Omega Beta Omega Chapter held its Ties That Bind Reclamation Activity, bringing Sorors together for a morning centered on connection, creativity, and sisterhood.
Sorors enjoyed fellowship while decorating neckties as a creative reminder of the ties that bind us together. Through conversation, laughter, and shared moments, we celebrated the bonds of sisterhood and the importance of staying connected.
Our reclamation efforts continue as we work to strengthen existing bonds while extending a warm welcome to Sorors seeking to reconnect with Alpha Kappa Alpha.
💕 Same sisters. Brighter bonds. 💚
Sisterhood lives here.
