Baby blues or postpartum depression? There is a difference 💙

The baby blues are very common in those first couple of weeks after birth and usually start to ease with time. Postpartum depression can last longer and feel much harder to move through day to day.

If something doesn’t feel right or you’re struggling, please reach out to your care provider or someone you trust. You don’t have to keep it to yourself.

Wondering how breastfeeding works with overnight doula support?

It really depends on what works best for you and your baby!

✨ If you’re pumping, your doula can offer a bottle of breast milk while you get some uninterrupted sleep.

✨ If you’re nursing, your doula can bring baby to you when it’s time to feed, then handle the diaper change, burping, and getting baby settled back to sleep afterward.

Breastfeeding and getting some much-needed rest can absolutely go hand in hand.

Happy Mothers Day

Motherhood changes you in ways nobody can fully explain until you’re living it.

It asks so much of you physically, mentally, and emotionally. It stretches you, softens you, humbles you, and shows you strengths you may not have known you had.

Some days feel really beautiful. Some days feel really hard. Most days are a mix of both.

To the mothers navigating long nights, big feelings, endless mental lists, healing, learning, and loving so deeply all at once, we see you and we celebrate you 🤍

Royal River Ducklings Infant Care ( 6 weeks to 12 months) is tailored to serve two newborns/infants, with the focus on the first year of growth and development. Many milestones happen in this short time. Babies who start with me will be introduced to age appropriate learning and promptly have their needs met. My hope is that they will be introduced to less germs in the first year. They will grow into a routine and build confidence away from home. This will help them shift into a toddler daycare setting with more ease and ready to build social relationships with peers.

Hours of Operation

7 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday
