All season long, Hogfish Maine artists in residence work, play, and renew together, forming lasting bonds with one another, Maine, and our communities. For the third year in a row, the program culminates at 317 Main Community Music Center with The Regenerative Seed Project—an open, collaborative exercise in the creative process where the artists share works in progress and invite the audience in to inform their projects and process. It’s a beautiful evening and community moment, and we hope to see you there!

Today in Portland Press Herald, 317’ers Mia Mastrogiacomo and Layla Stephenson talk about the impact Maine’s tucker pillsbury has on their growth and goals as a young musicians.

One of the things we care most about is supporting the full lifecycle of musicians—and one of the most important steps in that lifelong process is ensuring aspiring teenage musicians have the scaffolding they need to build and pursue their artistic vision and identity.

Witnessing how Mia and Layla are laying the creative foundations for their lives is what it’s all about, and we are fortunate to get to work with so many teens, adults, kids, and families throughout our state.

Thanks for being a role model, tucker pillsbury ❤️

Come down to 317 this Saturday at 11am, cause this one’s built for kids AND their grownups!

Tiny Disco is a joyful, high-energy dance party designed for the kiddos and the families who love them. We’ll fill Founders Hall with great music—the kind adults actually want to hear without any awkward car-ride explanations—plus playful lights and just enough organized chaos to make it feel like a real night out, just earlier in the day.

Teaching artists Emma Wiegand and Miranda MacDonald will keep things flowing and fun, with light-touch activities like floating scarves and parachutes—but at its core, this is a wide-open dance floor where moving your body is what it’s all about.

One ticket covers the whole crew: $20 per family.

We’re getting ready for one of the most rewarding nights of the year. It’s an evening when we come together to ensure everyone has a place to be themselves, expand their world, and deepen their community. 317 is such a unique place, for the families, teens, adults, bands, educators, and audiences who call it home—and we want more people to discover the magic. Help us keep it strong by coming out, letting loose, laughing, dancing, and remembering what real community can do in these times of need. Tickets are available on our website, and we hope to see you there!
