Dear Yardley Kids Academy Family,
It is with a heavy heart that I inform you the project at 1700 Makefield Rd fell through. Unfortunately, because of the length of time and monetary issues, Yardley Kids Academy will have to close.
My journey began over 42 years ago in my home. It grew with the help of several dedicated caregivers. They helped me to achieve my goal of opening a childcare center. I will be forever grateful to them for all of their help.
Yardley Kids Academy has been blessed with many talented educators. They have helped to create the perfect learning environment for all of your children. Each of them have added their own special talents to the program. It was a pleasure to work with them and I am so thankful to each and every one of them.
A special thank you to Miss Tammy, Miss Kathy, Miss Sandy, and Miss Jennette who hung-in until the project could not move forward. We have been blessed to have such loyalty.
There are a few of our educators that have been with the academy for many years.
A special thank you to our daughter, Miss Katrina. She has always stepped in to help through college, pregnancy, and motherhood. She always strived to make learning creative, challenging and fun!
Another Thank you is to Miss Kathy. Who has been with YKA for over 17 years. She was our ray of sunshine at the end of each school day. She always greeted each parent with her special smile and stories about the events of the day.
Last but certainly not least, there is Miss Tammy. No words can truly express our gratitude for her devotion, hard work, and care given to the YKA family. She has been a pillar of strength and success for over 26 years to YKA.
I would like to thank all the families past and present for allowing us to care for your children. It was a special gift that I will always be grateful for.
It has been a pleasure to be a part of the YKA family for over 30 years. Thank you for all your love and support. We will miss you very much!
