Today, we remember the tragedy of October 7 and honor the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the strength and resilience of the people of Israel.

Rockets into Roses transforms remnants of rockets fired at Israel into beautiful roses, a powerful symbol of hope, healing, and the enduring spirit of the Jewish people.

As we remember, may these roses remind us that even from moments of unimaginable darkness, something meaningful and beautiful can emerge.

Today, we remember.
Today, we mourn.
Today, we stand with Israel.

🇮🇱 Am Yisrael Chai.

🌿🍋 Sukkot Fun at Abrams! 🍋🌿

Even though school was in session for Chol HaMoed Sukkot, our students made the most of the holiday with plenty of fun, learning, and celebration!

From hands-on activities and games to learning about Sukkot's meaning and traditions, our students enjoyed every moment. They also had the special opportunity to visit sukkot throughout our community.

It was a wonderful few days filled with joy, learning, friendship, and lots of Sukkot spirit!

A New Year. New Beginnings. A Time for Reflection.

As we enter the holiest days of the Jewish year, Yom Kippur offers us a meaningful opportunity to pause, reflect, and look ahead. It is a time to consider the year behind us, embrace new beginnings, and look forward with hope and purpose.

At Abrams, this spirit of renewal is reflected all around us, from our students and teachers beginning another year of learning and growth to our new athletic fields, creating exciting opportunities for our school community.

May this Yom Kippur bring a day of reflection, forgiveness, and renewal to all of us.

G’mar Chatimah Tovah. May you be sealed in the Book of Life for a year of health, happiness, peace, and blessing.

Remembering September 11

Our middle school students had a very special opportunity to hear from Abrams alumna Jenn Reiss, who returned to the school to share her personal experiences of September 11, 2001. Twenty-five years ago, Jenn was a middle school student sitting in these very same seats, just as our students are today. Her return to Abrams made her story especially meaningful and relatable.

As she reflected on where she was and what she experienced on that unforgettable day, Jenn gave our students a firsthand perspective on an important moment in American history. Her powerful story encouraged our students to listen, reflect, ask questions, and remember the lives and stories connected to September 11.
