NIS is a nonprofit early childhood learning center that respects the unique needs of all children and their families. Our commitment is to provide therapeutic and educational services in a nurturing environment with the highest standard of expertise. We currently serve nearly 400 students up to age 5, over half of which have special needs.

In Loving Memory of Kristen Moran-Daleo 

For 26 years, Kristen was a cherished part of the NIS family. Her connection to NIS was deeply personal - her own children attended NIS, and she dedicated her career to the children, families, and staff who became her second family.  Kristen’s kindness, compassion, and love touched countless lives and helped make NIS the special community it is today.  We will forever be grateful for the years, memories, and love she shared with us.

Today, NIS celebrated the end of our summer session with a Block Party Through the Decades! 🎉 As we walked through the halls, we were reminded of why we do what we do. We saw children who once came through our doors nonverbal now talking, children who were once unambulatory now walking, and children who once struggled to interact now enjoying the company of their friends. Most importantly, we saw smiles - so many smiles. ❤️

Every milestone, no matter how big or small, is worth celebrating. We are incredibly proud of all of our preschoolers and all they have accomplished. We can’t wait to see all they will continue to achieve as they grow and journey through the decades ahead! 🌟 What a wonderful way to celebrate our summer session and our amazing NIS kids! 💙
