The scientist, Dr. SheeShee, wowed Mrs. Deccio's class thus week with a hands-on demonstration of sublimation, showing how a solid can change into a gas. It was an exciting opportunity for students to see real-world science come to life!

Registration for the 8th grade Social closes tomorrow Thursday! And we could use parent volunteers from any grade to help our PTO make this a celebration to remember for the Class of 2030!

8th Grade Families,

We are excited to celebrate our 8th graders at their final middle school social on Friday, May 29th! Registration will open on Wednesday, May 20th and close on Thursday, May 28th.

This after-school event is for 8th grade students only and will include food, games, music, a photo booth, and more. Admission is free; however, all students must be registered in order to attend.

Registration will be completed through Final Forms, the same platform used for sports, activities, and clubs. Families who have previously used Final Forms should find the process quick and easy. If this is your first time using Final Forms, please note:

You must create your account using the parent/guardian email address we have on file in Skyward.
Students cannot register themselves using student accounts.

Once your account is created and you can view your student, please:

Click “+ Add Sports/Activities”
Select “Join extracurricular activities”
Check the box next to “8th Grade Social”
Click “Update/Save Changes” at the bottom of the page

If you need assistance, please call or stop by the Junior High office — we are happy to help.

The social will end at 4:00 PM, and all students must have a ride home at that time. Students are expected to remain on campus and stay within designated areas for the duration of the event. All school rules and expectations will continue to apply during the social.

We will also be looking for parent volunteers to help chaperone and supervise during the event. More information about volunteer opportunities will be shared soon.

We look forward to celebrating this special milestone with our 8th graders!

Come celebrate our year in theatre! We will be presenting our production awards as well as honoring the commitment of our varsity letter recipients and revealing our show for next year. We hope our Bye Bye Birdie cast and crew as well as those who participated in our Spring One Acts will be part of the evening. Don’t miss it on Monday, June 1st at 7:00pm in the WVJH Auditorium.
