The Lutherhaven crew is back in Yakima! ❤️

We are so thankful for an amazing week at Lutherhaven. There were so many moments of laughter, learning, worship, and singing “My Lighthouse” together.

This week also brought new friendships with campers from Spokane, and our hearts are with our new friends and their families as they navigate the fires and all that has happened this week. We will continue praying for Spokane.

We’re looking forward to sleeping in our own beds tonight and sharing more about our week with you all this Sunday! ⛺️

Today is the last full day of camp at Lutherhaven.

During Bible Encounter, campers explored the story of Jesus feeding the five thousand and reflected on what it means to serve others. As they finish this week together, we pray they leave camp with hearts ready to love their neighbors through simple, faithful acts of service.

We also continue to hold our Spokane neighbors close in prayer. We grieve with those who have lost their homes, pray for families facing uncertainty, and ask God to strengthen the firefighters, first responders, and everyone working to protect our communities. We also pray for cleaner air at Lutherhaven, so campers and staff can safely enjoy these final days of camp while remembering those carrying heavy burdens back home.

Today, let’s cover the Lutherhaven Ministries summer staff in prayer.

They’ve spent their summer pouring into campers, leading with joy, serving behind the scenes, and sharing the love of Jesus in countless ways. As they head into the final stretch of camp, pray that God would renew their strength, encourage their hearts, and continue to work through them. Pray for meaningful conversations, lasting relationships, and that every camper who walks through Lutherhaven would leave knowing they are deeply loved by Christ.
