Father Edwin took our 7th and 8th graders on a tour of our beautiful church! Students learned more about our sacred space and were reminded that each time they enter, they have an opportunity to encounter Jesus. ❤️

With the first week of school behind us and outdoor construction still underway, we decided a little lightheartedness was needed today! 😂

Mrs. Winterfeld may have been making up her own numbers for the countdown, but the good news is… we’re getting closer and closer to the finish line! 🎉

🏗️ Teamwork makes the dream work! 🏗️

Our third graders put their creativity and teamwork to the test with a little friendly competition! Each team was given dry spaghetti noodles and marshmallows and challenged to build the tallest freestanding tower using only those supplies.

There was plenty of creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork happening in the classroom! 🌟

Way to go, third graders! We’re proud of you! 👏

It takes a village, and oh are we blessed! 💚

Our playground wouldn’t be taking shape without the incredible dedication of our St. Joe’s families. From digging and building to carrying, assembling, and rebuilding, our parents have shown up again and again; giving their time, energy, and muscle to make something special for our students.

We are so grateful for every parent who has picked up a tool, lent a hand, worked in the heat (or dark), or simply asked, “What can I do?”

This is what a school community looks like. 💚
Thank you for helping us build a playground and build something even more important: a stronger St. Joe’s community.

🚧 NEW PARKING LOT, NEW TRAFFIC FLOW! 🚗

Our new parking lot is ready, and we are excited to share a video explaining the new drop-off and pick-up procedures!

🗺️ Be sure to pick up a map from your child’s teacher at tomorrow night’s Move-In Night from 5:00–7:00 PM!

A few important things to remember:

🚫 Do NOT enter from 3rd Street. All entrances on 3rd Street are EXIT ONLY.

➡️ Enter the school parking lot from 4th Street.

🚗 Pull all the way forward when dropping off your child to help keep traffic moving smoothly.

🚶 If you park, please walk your child into the school using the crosswalks.

Please take a few minutes to watch the video and familiarize yourself with our new traffic flow before the first day of school. We appreciate your patience as everyone adjusts to the new parking lot!

☕ One More Day! 🎉

Our staff was treated to coffee today and a wonderful reminder that there is only one more day of school!

As we wrap up another incredible year, we are grateful for the many moments of joy, support, and community that make St. Joseph Marquette such a special place. Here's to finishing strong and celebrating a fantastic school year together!
