A big thank you to the Southwest Rotary Club of Yakima! In April, volunteers planted Northern Red Oak seedlings on our playground that will one day offer shade, beauty, and a deeper connection to nature. 🌳

We’re excited for our Explorers to grow alongside these trees!

Our schools are on a two-hour delay today, Friday, February 7, 2025. Middle and high school begins at 10:00 am and elementary school begins at 10:45 am. Bus routes 2, 8, 19 and 26 on snow routes. Breakfast available upon arrival. No a.m. preschool and no a.m. YV-TECH.

It's a new week and Discovery's PreK Tour continues. Today Principal Lucas, Asst and Director Hector had a great time visiting Tomi and her team at Easterseals Jane's House Child Development Center. Every team we meet shows us more and more people in Yakima passionate about our youngest learners.
