Spring recital was so much fun!

Today is my studio’s Spring Recital! Our recitals are not about perfection, showing off, comparing, or just getting through a performance. We are all about progress, gaining experience, learning how to play skillfully and how to be present during a performance. We love it when kids celebrate and appreciate other students’ abilities and cheer them on. Most importantly, we value SHARING the gift of music with others and having FUN! It’s going to be a great day!

Hope all of you moms had a wonderful Mother’s Day! Shout out to all you moms of budding musicians. All those words of encouragement to your kids while they are practicing, faithfully taking them to lessons and attending their recitals—it makes a big difference in their lives. GOOD JOB!
