🕵️‍♀️🔎 Whodunnit?!

Mrs. Vestal’s middle school ELA students were hard at work this morning tackling a “Whodunnit” context clue game! Students moved around the room, reading clues and putting their skills to the test as they used context clues to determine the meaning of unfamiliar words, and ultimately solve the mystery! 🧐📚

What a fun Friday activity to round out our first full week of school!

Mrs. Vestal is new to YSA this year, and we are so happy to have her! She is already proving to be a wonderful addition to our YSA team. We’re excited to see all the fun and learning she brings to our students this year! ❤️

Have a child struggling with grief? There is a free grief day camp for children ages 5-14 on Saturday, September 19th provided by Mountain Valley Hospice. Registration and contact information are listed on the flyer.

Driver’s Ed. is starting soon! Students born on or before March 15, 2012 are eligible to take the class. The mandatory eye exam and meeting is at Forbush High on September 15th. If you would like to register your child, please complete the form below:

Being named Teacher of the Year is a special honor. It's not awarded based on who someone is or who they know, but rather chosen because of what they do by colleagues who recognize the dedication, character, and daily impact an educator has on students. We are proud to announce that Jack Moss has been named the 2025–2026 Yadkin Success Academy Teacher of the Year!

As a high school Math teacher at Yadkin Success Academy, Coach Moss exemplifies what it means to be an outstanding educator. His genuine care for students is evident in the time and effort he invests in their academic growth as well as their personal development.
