Miss Robin, our Trauma-Informed Workforce Career Coach, is introducing students to a personality assessment that helps them understand their behavior and communication styles and how to work with others.

From customers to coworkers, communication matters! These skills help our students get hired, keep that job, and grow.

We believe in their future and love watching them believe in it, too. ♡

We were honored to represent Emerge Recovery & Trade Initiative and The Trades Institute at the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction Second Chance Thursday event in Montgomery County. As one organization, we were able to share how our clinical services, recovery housing, and workforce development programs work together to support individuals and families at every stage of their journey.

The level of community collaboration was truly inspiring. It was encouraging to connect with so many organizations, employers, and community partners who are committed to creating opportunities, restoring hope, and helping individuals build meaningful futures. Events like these remind us that lasting impact happens when we come together to support and strengthen our communities.

Thank you to everyone who made this event possible and for your continued commitment to second chances and community success.

This week at The Trades Institute: pipes, purpose, and putting those hands to work! 🔧🙌

Our HVAC and Plumbing students continue building skills for their futures. This week, our students took on a few blessing project, fixing things throughout the building while gaining hands-on, real-life experience. Putting what they’ve learned to work is one of their favorite parts!
