The Mobile Ice Cream Truck paid our students a visit last week for Thursday’s Sweet Treat Day! Ice cream music played as we rolled down the hall! 🍦✨

Our students are showing up every day, tackling big challenges, and doing hard things to build their futures. Kindness can sometimes catch people by surprise, but moments like this are a simple reminder that hard work deserves to be celebrated.

Fun was had by all, and whether it was a classic Bomb Pop or a Strawberry Shortcake, our students definitely earned every single bite!

(Don't worry—for those in Block A and anyone who was out on ride-alongs during Thursday’s fun, we haven't forgotten you! More treats are coming your way soon! 🎉)

It was an honor to participate in this visit last week and highlight how skilled trades training is helping individuals gain confidence, purpose, and a pathway to meaningful careers. We are proud to be part of this important work.

It was an honor to welcome Congressman Mike Turner to Emerge Recovery & Trade Initiative!

Congressman Turner has long been a strong advocate for the Dayton region, working to bring resources, opportunities, and investment back to the communities he represents. We are grateful for the opportunity to share more about Emerge’s mission and the work happening every day to help individuals rebuild their lives through recovery, workforce training, supportive community, and meaningful employment.

Visits like this provide an important opportunity to highlight both the challenges facing our region and the innovative solutions being developed right here in our community.
