These two, sure know how to make a pretty stool! And it was test driven by Spencer Roberts last night as he performed for our Filling Bowls from Farm to Table fundraiser! He mentioned how comfortable it was. Nice job, Jeff Goodson Woodworking and Patty Younger! Jeff made the chair structure and Patty caned it last weekend at the Floyd Living Traditions Festival. It was their demo chair! We auctioned it off last night to raise funds for free classes and workshops to be hosted by Forge Appalachia!

What a fantastic evening, partnering with Open Door Cafe! The first Filling Bowls from Farm to Table event was such a wonderful success thanks to the hardworking staff at Open Door, volunteers from Forge Appalachia, our musicians for the evening, Spencer Roberts and Nate Montgomery, and most importantly our potters Laura Abby of Laurel Creek Pottery, Margie Coates, Cheryl Bess, and our own Forge board members! Thanks so much to our guests that supported both organizations by attending this evening. We are forever grateful!
