I have been getting lots of questions about the stone soup... To me it means alot ... one weekend there was a BC comic on tv the only one ive ever seen and my dad and i were watching it and it had a stone soup reference in it.. there was also something else we had watched that referred to stone soup. I asked my grandma ede if she ever heard of stone soup and she laughed and said she had and it went along with their rock garden when she was little. they used to plant a rock garden in the spring she said and when the vegetables were scarce they would have to pick stones. so im not believing this because my grandma ede was an awesome cook and she never fed us stones. so anyway she said they scrubbed the stones and set them on a towel next to the stove and washed and cut the vegetables and they watched as the stones were carefully put in the bottom of the pot then they were sent to do their chores and boy was that the best stone soup when they came in to eat.... was she pulling my leg or was her mom pulling hers...
