A huge construction project is coming to Burton Street on MONDAY, May 18, which will affect all of us in the Godfrey-Lee district!

It is VERY important for all of our constituents to pay attention to construction updates from the City of Wyoming. Here are the different links to stay up to date on the project:

The first link is specific to the Burton Street Project. It is very informative with images and details about the reason for the construction, and what the project will look like at the end. The construction will affect how students and families travel to and from school, especially walkers who have to use Burton street.

The detour is currently placed on Chicago Drive. It is important that we are patient with everyone during this time. It will cause delays and some frustration, but the safety of our students and community is our #1 concern.

Tonight we celebrate the Class of 2026 at the 102nd Commencement Ceremony of Godfrey-Lee Public Schools!

We are overjoyed about the accomplishments of our students and cannot wait for the big night, tonight.

For families attending the ceremony, please use the East Beltline entrance into Calvary Church as the Leffingwell Road behind the church is closed due to construction. Park in Parking lots A & B.

Doors to the sanctuary open at 6:15 PM. Tickets are required for entry.
