Northpoint President Trent Roberts and Dr. Brian Lidbeck, Academic Dean and author of Making Sense of Speaking in Tongues, sat down with the Michigan Ministry Network at Studio33:3 to create a Holy Spirit Baptism resource for this summer's camps. Grateful for Brett and Pastor Donovan for making the trip to Grand Rapids and for investing in the next generation of ministry leaders. Something good is coming.

Preparing for ministry happens in community. In the classroom, in an internship, serving in church, and in the moments between with an open Bible, a good friend, and a curiosity to go deeper in the Word. Come be a part of the Northpoint community this fall.

Summer is here and campus is quiet β but not for long. This fall, a new group of students will find their people, step into their calling, and build relationships that last well beyond graduation. That could be you. Applications for fall 2026 are still open.

Three weeks ago, we gathered for the Commencement Ceremony of the Class of 2026, and what an incredible celebration it was! For friends and family of the graduates and of Northpoint College who were unable to attend, please enjoy viewing the recording here. We are so grateful to our gracious host, Grand Rapids First, the Northpoint staff and faculty, and our Keynote Speaker, Dr. CaVar Reid, for such an honoring night. Congratulations again, graduates!

"Reverend." For 14 of our graduates, that title was spoken over them for the very first time as they walked across the Commencement stage.
This year, Northpoint College graduated 17 students, 14 of whom crossed the stage already credentialed with the Michigan Network of the Assemblies of God.
We can't wait to see some of them at Network Council this week, joining a family of Michigan leaders, pastors, and ministers we deeply respect. What a gift to send our graduates into hands like these.
So proud of you, Class of 2026.

Called. Prepared. Commissioned. Sent.
This weekend, a new class of Northpoint College graduates stepped out of the training grounds and into the calling God has been preparing them for. We're grateful for His faithful hand on every one of these students. Through late nights, breakthroughs, and moments of surrender, He shaped their hearts for ministry. What He has begun in them, He will be faithful to complete.
Thank you to Grand Rapids First for hosting Baccalaureate and Commencement so beautifully. Thank you to our student speaker, Cole Murphy, for the reminder that "God equips," and to our keynote, evangelist Dr. CaVar Reid, for charging this class "to come to the end of themselves" by daily submitting to God's authority over their lives. And to the families, friends, and pastors who came to celebrate and commission these outgoing ministers, your love and prayers are the soil this fruit grew in.
Class of 2026, the world is waiting for what God has placed in you. You're just getting started!

The senior class trip to the Hatcher Library Papyrological Collection at the University of Michigan is always a highlight, especially for those who have taken Greek with Dr. Lidbeck. We saw some of the oldest manuscripts of Paul, believed to have been written between 150 and 275 CE. The collection is recognized as the largest research and teaching collection of papyri in North America. What an incredible resource right here in Michigan!

Songwriting class spent the evening recording two of the songs that they worked on together this week in Studio33:3. We can't wait to share these projects and are so proud of the hard work and creativity of these students! Huge thank you to Corydon Tuttle and the team for staying late π
