Eighty-seven years ago, a seed went into the ground. The University of Valley Forge began as an act of faith, and for nearly nine decades, it did what a seed is meant to do. It grew, and it multiplied. Every student who walked that campus and went out to preach, to serve, to plant churches and carry the Gospel to the nations became part of a harvest that is still being gathered around the world. Today, we honor it, and we thank God for what those years produced.
We won't pretend this news is easy. A closing is a real loss, and we're grieving with the students, faculty, and staff who answered Godβs call and made Valley Forge home. But those who sow in tears still reap with joy. A field can go quiet without the harvest ending, because the fruit of nearly nine decades isn't stored in a building. It's alive in pulpits, mission fields, and neighborhoods all over the world, and it is still growing.
To the students of Valley Forge: you are part of that harvest, and the seed God planted in you did not stop growing. Your calling didn't close when your school did. The work He began in you is still underway, and the fields are still ready.
If you're wondering what comes next, know that you're not alone. The paths that Valley Forge has already opened for you at Eastern University, Messiah University, and Southeastern University are great places to begin. Also know that we believe the schools of the Assemblies of God Alliance for Higher Education across our Fellowship are ready to help you keep growing and finish what you've started. There are more open fields than you can see from where you're standing. Don't grow weary, and don't set your calling on the shelf. In due season, your steadfastness will reap a harvest for the Lord.
We're praying for every UVF student, faculty, and staff member in this season.
Grieving and grateful with you,
President Trent Roberts and the Northpoint College family

What's your favorite book so far on your summer reading list? Bonus points if it's one of Dr. Lidbeck's π§ππ―
Cam came to Northpoint in 2022 not knowing exactly where his calling would take him. He leaves feeling prepared to be a husband, a pastor, a business professional. Whatever God has next. This is what four years of yes looks like. What can a lifetime of yes become?

Northpoint President Trent Roberts and Dr. Brian Lidbeck, Academic Dean and author of Making Sense of Speaking in Tongues, sat down with the Michigan Ministry Network at Studio33:3 to create a Holy Spirit Baptism resource for this summer's camps. Grateful for Brett and Pastor Donovan for making the trip to Grand Rapids and for investing in the next generation of ministry leaders. Something good is coming.

Preparing for ministry happens in community. In the classroom, in an internship, serving in church, and in the moments between with an open Bible, a good friend, and a curiosity to go deeper in the Word. Come be a part of the Northpoint community this fall.

Summer is here and campus is quiet β but not for long. This fall, a new group of students will find their people, step into their calling, and build relationships that last well beyond graduation. That could be you. Applications for fall 2026 are still open.

"Reverend." For 14 of our graduates, that title was spoken over them for the very first time as they walked across the Commencement stage.
This year, Northpoint College graduated 17 students, 14 of whom crossed the stage already credentialed with the Michigan Network of the Assemblies of God.
We can't wait to see some of them at Network Council this week, joining a family of Michigan leaders, pastors, and ministers we deeply respect. What a gift to send our graduates into hands like these.
So proud of you, Class of 2026.
