January is School Board Recognition Month.
As elected officials, all school board members have various responsibilities, which include budget oversight, advocating for the needs of students, and creating systems to meet district goals. Along with this they assure an excellent staff of educators and support personnel. They selflessly volunteer a majority of their time and expertise to ensure all students have the access and resources for our schools to provide our student population with a world-class education.
In the Godwin Heights Public School District, our passionate and elected local leaders are champions of public education, guiding and supporting the needs of our Godwin students and staff. Additionally, they fulfill an essential role in fostering student achievement by displaying efficient leadership and establishing thoughtful policies and transparency within the Godwin Community.
Throughout the month, take the time to show your appreciation for our school board members for their tireless efforts and leadership. Our Godwin Heights school board assure that "Every day is a Great Day for our students to be A Wolverine"!
