Big thank you to Blake Harms and WOOD TV8 for visiting and inspiring our 5th and 6th grade STEM Club students!
Students had an incredible opportunity to learn about weather forecasting, severe storm prediction, and careers in meteorology. From explaining atmospheric conditions to sharing real experiences covering last week’s storms, Blake showed just how dynamic and exciting the field can be.
He even shared how his passion started back in middle school—eventually leading to predicting snow days for 256 schools (something our students definitely appreciated ❄️).
We’re grateful for the time, knowledge, and inspiration you brought to our students!
