‘I really like the idea that once I was a student here aspiring to be an artist and now I am back and making art on the walls of the school.’

— Wyoming High School graduate Oliver Van Fleet

Two graduates are sharing art with the school they once attended through an aspirational mural.

“I think if we always want staff to be growing in their practice, it’s important to model that as a leader,” Nathan Walters, Wyoming Intermediate School Principal said. “Reading is a way to educate myself, to make sure that I’m continuing to stay up on what works as we do this hard work in public education."

This new principal taps into lifelong lessons from books and the basketball court in leading Wyoming Intermediate School.

📚⏰ A great school day starts with being on time!

Wyoming Intermediate families, please remember:
✅ Scholars should arrive early and be ready for class when the school day begins.
✅ Arriving after the start of class is considered tardy.
✅ Consistent attendance helps students stay connected, build routines, and maximize learning opportunities.

Thank you for partnering with us to make every school day a success. Let’s make this a great year at WIS! 🐺💜
