As Coach Samariz and Coach Memo wrap up their first season as head coaches, it has been an overall success.
“One of my goals this year was to increase the numbers on both our boys’ and girls’ teams, and I believe we accomplished that. We had enough athletes on each side to create A and B teams. Just as important, we worked to build a culture where our bowlers wanted to be here, wanted to compete, and wanted to be part of something bigger as one team.” - Coach Memo
“Being brought in as a coach has been a blessing. Coming back to be part of a program I was once part of in high school has meant a lot to me. In my first year, I wanted to get my feet wet and truly understand what this team brings to the table when we compete. I strongly believe we are only going up from here.” - Coach Samariz
This year’s records:
Boys: 10–3–1
Girls: 9–1
Overall: 19-4-1

As the season comes to an end, we want to congratulate all of our bowlers on an amazing year. We also want to give a special shoutout to JT, who finished ninth at Regionals with an impressive 1,097 series. He barely missed the cutoff for qualifying for State.
This is a truly outstanding accomplishment for our Lee Legends bowling team, and we couldn’t be more proud.

The girls gave it everything they had this season, and as their team season comes to an end, we couldn’t be more proud of the growth and hard work they showed.
They finished the regular season with only one loss and then moved from Division 3 to Division 2 for Regionals, where the competition was even tougher. On top of that, three of our six bowlers were first-year athletes who had to step up and compete on one of the biggest stages of the season. That says a lot about their courage and commitment.
The relationships and bond these girls built throughout the season are just as impressive as their performance. We are incredibly proud of them and everything they accomplished.

As our team’s season comes to an end, our boys competed at Regionals today. We were bumped up from Division 3 to Division 2 and had to face some tough competition. All in all, we gave it everything we had.
Our motto this season was to keep improving and to get better every day, and that’s exactly what our boys did. While it wasn’t the result we were hoping for, our hard work truly paid off. This year, our boys bowled over 100 pins better than they did at Regionals last season. That speaks volumes about the effort and commitment they put into this year.
We are extremely proud of them and already looking forward to getting back in the lanes this summer to keep improving and building on what we’ve started.

As we wrap up our regular season, we want to wish our seniors who have bowled with the varsity team all season long the best of luck in their next endeavors. They will truly be missed at the bowling alley.
We’re going to miss their presence and the amazing energy they brought to every practice and every match.
Good luck wherever life takes you, and remember to always be legendary. 🎳
