Dear Grand View Parents/Guardians,

Our district will be participating in a survey called the MI Student Voice Parent/Guardian Perception Survey. Topics covered in the survey fall into three categories: Parent/Guardian Satisfaction, Student Engagement & Connection, and Belonging.

Additionally, students in grades 5 through 12 are taking the MI Student Voice Perception Survey, which will capture information about their school experience, focusing on the areas of Engagement, Belonging and Social-Emotional Learning. Our school educators will also be participating in a survey regarding their school experiences. We believe that using these surveys will allow our district to have a more holistic approach to improving measures of school quality in our school improvement plans.

The Parent/Guardian Perception Survey can be completed online using a computer, tablet or mobile device. The anonymous survey is designed to protect your privacy and the privacy of your student(s). The survey has under 40 questions and is expected to take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Note: If you have multiple children enrolled in the school district, you will answer the questions based on your eldest child. You are welcome to take the survey again for additional children, if you would like.

While participation is voluntary, we encourage all parents/guardians to take part in the survey, as we hope to gather meaningful information about your experiences. We will forward the active link for you to access the survey when it becomes available.

Happy May! As we wrap up the school year, we’re excited to share our final newsletter, The Grand View Times: May 2026. Please take a few moments to read about upcoming events this month and enjoy highlights and photos from our April celebrations.

We look forward to seeing many of you at our Be Our Guest Luncheon and the Dawg Dash Color Splash event. Our staff is incredibly proud of our 396 students and all they have accomplished this year. I am also looking forward to celebrating our dedicated staff next week during Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week!
