Make sure you mark your calendars for our 1st Annual Yellowjacket Royalty Alumni Basketball Game and Ceremony, March 27th!

We are starting a new tradition at WPS!
Each class has elected a male and female class representative. They will be participating in the Yellowjacket Royalty Court. This will be like a homecoming ceremony but for the entire school. Each class has put together a raffle item/basket. Students will be selling raffle tickets until March 23rd. They will also have a booth set up at the Alumni game to make last minute sales. The class that sells the most tickets will earn the Mr. & Ms. Yellowjacket title as well as a fun field trip of their choice. The money earned from this fundraiser will go into their individual class accounts. This will be used for things such as 8th grade and senior trips, prom, graduations and any other class expenses.

We are excited for this new tradition and cannot wait for a fun evening of basketball and celebration.
