Chickasaw high school students are encouraged to apply for Chickasaw honor cords and reimbursement of up to $300 for their upcoming graduations.

Represent your Chickasaw heritage by wearing these braided yellow, purple and blue cords featuring a button of the Great Seal of the Chickasaw Nation.

The application deadline for honor cords is March 30.

This week is the final week to apply for the Toksali SMART youth employment training program!

First American youth ages 14-21 can participate in on-the-job training, learn practical life skills, take a career interest assessment, receive cultural education and more. Selected candidates are paid during the program.

Chickasaw citizens can receive funding assistance for extracurricular activities through the Chickasaw Nation Youth Support Reimbursement Program!

The program provides up to $300 a year to cover the costs of participation in extracurricular activities. Chickasaw children ages 3-18 are eligible and must provide proof of Chickasaw citizenship and a recent report card or progress report. Assistance is limited to once per year.
