As part of our functional learning activities, Ms. JJ and Ms. Price’s class had the opportunity to visit our local fire department and learn more about the different careers and opportunities available within our community. The students enjoyed touring the station, sitting inside the fire truck, asking lots of questions, and even getting the chance to spray water from the fire hose!

They had a wonderful time learning through hands-on experiences and left with plenty of goodies and great memories to take home. We are so thankful to our local firefighters for welcoming our students and making this such a fun and educational experience!

Looking to buy your own guitar or bass? Representatives from Backbeat Music will be at WJHS to help you find the perfect instrument!

Students will need a change of clothes and a towel if they choose to get wet. We will have 2 water slides, sno cones, and cotton candy. Your student will not need any money. Just a good attitude, and come have some fun.
