There are several community service opportunities available in October!

More details can be found in the weekly announcements. Mrs. Turner sends announcements to all students on Monday mornings, and they can be found on the WHS website, https://www.wynneschools.org/o/sr-high-school, under the "Our School" tab.

Upcoming opportunities include:
October 10, 8 AM - 12 PM -Pine Tree WDA Clean Up Day

October 10, 6:45 AM -6:00 PM -Pumpkin Smash Brawl Fall Festival and Softball Tournament Marked Tree Sports Complex

October 12, 9 AM -until we are finished-Campus Clean Up with Mrs. Turner--WHS temp site

October 24, 9:00 AM -1:00 PM -Great Arkansas Clean Up at Village Creek

WHS is hosting a One School, One Book book club!

A TikTok bestselling book, The Naturals, is available on the school website or in the Library until November 3 for $10. Read the book and join the fun discussion during WYN time in January! You can review a synopsis of the book below.

Yesterday, Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food, and Life Sciences had its first stop of the Bumpers on the Road tour!

Students were able to hear about the incredible opportunities at Bumpers College, scholarships, hands-on experiences, career opportunities, and the importance of having a plan.

Happy National Instructional Facilitators Day! 💙

Today, we are proud to recognize Holly Campbell and Kristy Marrs, our outstanding Instructional Facilitators at Wynne High School!

Holly and Kristy work alongside our teachers every day—providing support, sharing strategies and resources, analyzing data, collaborating on instruction, and helping us continually improve the learning experience for our students. Their work may often happen behind the scenes, but their impact can be seen throughout our classrooms.

Thank you, Holly and Kristy, for investing in our teachers, supporting our students, and always pushing Wynne High School to Be the Best!

The WHS College and Career Fair is coming up!

Connect with our students and help build brighter futures! Be sure to RSVP by October 9 by emailing [email protected]. The fair will take place on Tuesday, October 20, from 8:30 AM to noon.

For those attending who wish to set up, please bring a table and chairs, a tent/canopy, informational materials, promotional items, and career/internship/job opportunity details for our students! Please arrive by 8:15 AM and enter the WHS campus from Falls Blvd., where volunteers will assist with traffic and check-in.

Wednesday, October 7 - Make-up pictures for Wynne High School are in the gym for grades 10 and 11 from 8:00 to 10:00 AM. ALL online students need to come take a photo.

Friday, October 9 - Club pictures for Wynne High School are in the gym from 8:00 to 11:00 AM.

Mr. Meek’s commitment to Wynne High School is evident in his dedication to our students, staff, and school community. Whether supporting students, encouraging teachers, celebrating accomplishments, or working behind the scenes to make WHS better each day, he is committed to helping our Yellowjackets succeed.

From 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM, eight food trucks will be set up and available to WHS and all Wynne Public Schools faculty and staff. Come out and snag some food and refreshments from:
