PROJECT SPOTLIGHT! 📢📢
The Wynne High School Golf Team takes pride in representing their school both on and off the course, but one important symbol of that pride had been missing a golf flag that truly reflected Wynne High School. While golfing, Mylan Maino noticed that the High School golf team didn’t have a golf flag that represents Wynne High School. Motivated to change that, Gabby, Kennedy, and Mylan teamed up to design a unique, meaningful golf flag that showcases the spirit, identity, and tradition of the Wynne Yellowjackets. Their collaborative project combines creativity, school pride, and a commitment to enhancing the team’s presence on the course.

MEET YOUR RECOGNITION CHAMPIONS HILA FAY & TAYLOR!

Meet Hila, a passionate and driven individual dedicated to creating meaningful change and inspiring leadership within her school and community. Through her involvement in EAST (Education Accelerated through Service and Technology), she has cultivated invaluable skills in problem-solving, technology, and project management, empowering her to approach challenges with creativity and confidence. Hila thrives on continuous learning, collaborative teamwork, and transforming innovative ideas into impactful realities.
Looking ahead, Hila envisions a future filled with ambition and purpose. She plans to pursue higher education in Pre-Med, with the goal of attending medical school to become a compassionate and skilled Pediatrician. EAST has been instrumental in shaping her journey, providing her with opportunities to lead, think critically, and make a positive difference in her community.
Proud to be part of a program that empowers students to turn vision into action, Hila is excited to continue honing her skills, shaping her future, and inspiring others along the way.

Taylor is passionate about learning, helping others, and using creativity to make a difference in her school and community. Through EAST, she has built important skills in teamwork, communication, and technology that have helped her approach challenges with confidence and new ideas. She enjoys collaborating with her peers, discovering new ways to solve problems, and seeing projects come to life that make a positive impact.
In the future, Taylor plans to
become an obstetric sonographer and continue working hard to be successful in her classes. The experiences she’s gained through EAST have taught her how to think critically, manage projects, and stay determined when working toward her goals. She’s proud to be part of a program that encourages students to grow, lead, and give back to their community.

IN STRATEGY AND LEADERSHIP MEET JACK KING!

Hey there! I’m Jack King, and I’ve been in EAST for 7 years. I’m passionate about pursuing a career in medicine, specifically aiming for pre-med in college with the goal of becoming an anesthesiologist. I’ve always been drawn to science and the way the body works, and I can’t wait to dive deeper into the medical field.

When I’m not hitting the books, I’m usually on the golf course, where I find my flow and enjoy the challenge. Leadership is something I take seriously, whether it’s on the golf course or in my everyday life—helping others and taking initiative is something I value deeply.

In my downtime, I love filling up my schedule with activities that fuel my growth, whether it’s learning something new, volunteering, or just enjoying some downtime. If you’re looking for someone who’s driven, curious, and dedicated, I’m your guy!

NEXT UP IN OUR TECH AND INNOVATION DEPARTMENT, MEET ADDI & CAROLANNE!

Meet Carolanne McCollum! Carolanne is passionate about creating, problem-solving, and making smiles all across the communication.
Through EAST, she’s developed the skills of creativity, technology, and communication, which has helped her tackle her challenges of self-confidence and creativity. She thrives on learning new things, helping however she can, and finding ways to bring her ideas to life.
Carolanne’s future contains paths of wonder! Although she is still curious, she has plans of either becoming a genetic scientist, a worker of a train station, or a graphic designer. She is so happy to be part of a community that brings others together and is ecstatic to continue using the skills she’s gained to shape the future and inspire everyone along the way. She cannot wait to find more people to connect with!

Meet Addi Drennon! She’s a passionate and driven EAST student that’s all about helping others, communicating ideas effectively, and making a meaningful difference in her community. In EAST, Addi loves creating solutions to real-world problems, designing creative and impactful projects, and connecting with people.
She’s learned how to use new technology, work better with a team, and think through problems from different angles to come up with an effective solution. While she’s still exploring her future career path, she’s interested in pursuing college studies in international business, marketing, or scientific research. Regardless of what she chooses to pursue, EAST has prepared her with skills that will carry over into each field. Because of EAST she is someone who can solve problems, analyze situations and think critically, and communicate effectively.
Addi is excited to continue to keep learning & grow her skills, build new connections, and make a positive impact in both her school and
community through the EAST program!
