“He continued his walk and soon found the sun. Along with the clouds, they could all have some fun!”

provided a wonderful lessons for us on our first week back! A read-aloud from Ms Kaley followed by creating our own scribbles in the sunlight. Such a wonderful way to spend our Friday!

Dear Community,
We need your help for items for our WIS Library Observation Stations. These stations give our students the opportunity to see things they might not otherwise see and help to bring our lessons off the page and into the real world! These items can be fossils, bones, older technology (typewriters, rotary telephones, etc.), or anything else science or environment based. Please do not feel limited by our examples, we love adapting our lesson plans and providing an encyclopedia’s worth of experiences for our students.

Please, nothing too fragile. Our students are still very tactile learners and often look with their hands. If you have any questions or want to donate an item please contact [email protected]

Update on Jack 🎃
Our students are observing the decaying stage of Jack’s life cycle. Jack has developed several moldy spots and his face is starting to shrivel. This stage of his life cycle will be very short compared to the rest. It’s fun to see his daily changes. More updates to come!!

School personnel impact our students lives everyday so we are returning the favor! Students have been writing letters to someone whose kindness shined so bright, you can’t help but remember it. Keep an eye out! Letters will begin showing up in school mail after fall break. 💙🐝💛📖
