We are excited to announce that registration is now live for the 2026-27 Toddler & Parent Forest Program!

The program will run in 5 or 4 week sessions on Tuesdays or Thursdays (& Wednesdays if demand exceeds the capacity) from 10:30-12:00PM and is designed for children from 18 months to 3 years old and their care giver. It will be facilitated by our amazing faculty and outdoor enthusiasts.

Note: We have switched to a new platform called "Camp Brain" so you may need to create a new account in order to register your child.

Also, we will continue to use our pond-side yurt during the colder months as needed.

Hot summer days already have us anticipating a cool start to fall! Whether your little one is new to school or your older child needs a change, Parker’s engaging and innovative project-based education responds to children’s curiosities and interests to foster active learning that students love. Parker kids learn by DOING the actual work with their hands, bodies, and brains, not passively sitting in front of a screen. Our 77-acre campus provides the perfect habitat for children to explore, take risks, and solve problems, fostering confidence and self-awareness while deepening their bonds with nature.

Join us for PRIDE! Parker students, faculty, and families will be marching in the parade beginning at 11:30AM. We will then picnic in the park and stick around to hear Parker alumni Caona, Lyra, and Orion perform with their band Mixtape on the main stage at 3:15PM!!! They did it! Surrounded by our beautiful community of families, faculty, and friends, our Class of 2026 graduated last Friday evening! In the words of our alumni speaker, George Hartman, Class of 2022, “The gift Parker has given you is so important. Your gift from this school is the ability to be the light. Most people in this world don’t stand up to injustice. But people like you, the people who fight, who dig in, and who still manage to keep surviving — those are the ones you can’t beat. Those are the ones no one can beat. The world can throw everything it’s got at you, but I have faith — and your parents have faith, and your teachers have faith — that your kindness and compassion will help you and those around you weather any storm.”

Parker believes in empowering children to take charge of their education. In so doing, our children become passionate experts about their learning, eager to take ownership of their work and share their learning forward with others. This week, we celebrated our PreK, 3rd & 4th Grade, and Middle School Shows of Work. Parker grown-ups were wonderful learners for our students, who were SO HAPPY to put on their teaching caps and show us what they know! Parker student work exhibits choice, autonomy, and yet a powerful sense of being part of the collective whole that defines our community.
