🌟 STUDENT SPOTLIGHT: MEET ZANE! 🌟

At St. Jude the Apostle School, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and reach their fullest potential. Today, we are excited to spotlight Zane, one of our outstanding 4th graders! 💚💛

Zane has been part of our St. Jude family since preschool, and throughout her years with us, she has consistently demonstrated an incredible dedication to learning and a desire to challenge herself academically.

Beginning in 2nd grade, Zane was provided with advanced instruction in English Language Arts to meet her growing academic abilities. This year, based on standardized assessment results, classroom performance, and teacher recommendations, Zane qualified for advanced placement in mathematics!

Under the guidance of our talented mathematics teacher, Mr. Giuliano, Zane is currently completing the 5th grade mathematics curriculum while enrolled in 4th grade! 📚✏️

What makes Zane truly special is not simply her academic achievement, but her motivation, determination, and appreciation for the opportunities she has been given. She understands the value of her education and is grateful to attend a school where her teachers recognize her strengths, encourage her curiosity, and provide opportunities for her to soar!

At St. Jude, we recognize that every child learns differently. Whether a student needs additional support or is ready for greater academic challenges, our dedicated faculty works to meet students where they are and help them become the very best versions of themselves.

🌟 Zane, we are so proud of your hard work, dedication, and accomplishments! Keep reaching for the stars!

💚 This is Zane. This is St. Jude. This is what happens when every child's potential is recognized and nurtured! ✝️

Feast of the Holy Rosary (10/7) Principal's Challenge!
Mrs. Hoffay challenged her K-5 students to say the rosary at home on the evening of the Feast of the Holy Rosary. Each day they say 1 decade of the rosary at morning assembly and this was a perfect way to spread their knowledge and faith at home with their families. Over half the students rose to the challenge and will receive a dress down card for their reward!

The students, staff & families of St. Jude the Apostle School would like to thank our dedicated men & women of the Wynantskill Fire Department for visiting us today for Fire Prevention Month! 🚒🧯The school executed a flawless fire drill, followed by time with our firefighters learning about fire prevention and exploring the always popular fire trucks. Our firefighters are an exceptional example of God’s call to all of us to serve others in his name. May God bless and protect you all! 🙏

🌟 STUDENT SPOTLIGHT: MEET ARYA!
🌟
Arya joined the St. Jude the Apostle School family as a 1st grader in 2022, and now, as a 5th grader, she continues to show us what it truly means to lead with kindness. 💚

Arya has a special gift for noticing others. She recognizes when a classmate needs a friend, a helping hand, a smile, or simply someone to sit with at lunch—and she steps in without being asked.

When Arya sees someone being treated unkindly or left out, she has the courage to speak up and make sure that person knows they belong. Her compassion reminds us that leadership isn't always about being the loudest voice in the room. Sometimes, it's about being the person who notices, includes, and chooses kindness.

At St. Jude, we strive to help our students grow not only academically, but also in faith, character, compassion, and service to others. Arya beautifully demonstrates those values every day.

💚 This is Arya. This is St. Jude. This is what it means to lead with kindness. ✝️
