🍕 Calling all little chefs! We had the BEST time making homemade pizzas today at Wymore Head Start! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

Our classroom transformed into a bustling pizzeria, and every child got to step into the role of head chef to create their very own culinary masterpiece right at their tables! We are so incredibly lucky to have the best cook around to guide us, teach us kitchen skills, and show us how it's done! 🥖✨

To top off our delicious day, we read the fantastic book "Crazy Pizza Day" to bring our pizza adventures to life through reading. 📚❤️

From spreading the sauce to choosing our favorite toppings, today was all about hands-on learning, healthy habits, and—most importantly—lots of fun! 😋

🚨 Sound the alarm—we had the BEST day at Wymore Head Start! 🚨

Our classroom had some incredibly special visitors today: the Blue Springs Fire Department! 🚒💨

Our little learners got a front-row seat to discover how fire equipment works, explore a real fire truck, and meet our amazing local firefighter heroes. The absolute highlight? Everyone got a turn spraying the fire hose! 💦👩‍🚒👨‍🚒

A massive thank you to the fire department for going above and beyond—every child went home smiling with their very own firefighter hat and a bag of special goodies. We are so grateful for your dedication to our community and our kids! ❤️

Revving up the fun! 🚥 Our recent "Wheely Fun Fathers Event" was an absolute blast!

It was wonderful to see so many of our families come together last week for an evening dedicated to family bonding and friendly competition.

Each child felt like a true professional racer, receiving an official Pit Crew Pass and a derby car to design alongside their family. The creativity on display was amazing!

While the rainy weather kept us from hosting our big race outdoors, it couldn't stop the joy inside. Our families enjoyed a fantastic evening of quality time, shared meals, art projects, and plenty of racing action. 🏆☔

We are so grateful for our preschool community and the dedicated families who make these events possible. Thank you for making memories with us.

We are off to a beautiful start on this gloomy day! We noticed the rain brought all of the worms out so the kids decided to have their own earth day! So much fun was had by all!

"A Head Start on the American Dream"

Thank you to our wonderful volunteers for helping with our Sam Wymore Day's float.

The kids had a blast helping decorate and throw candy. It was such a fun & beautiful day. ❤️💙🤍

It's Sam Wymore Days this weekend.

Wymore Head Start is set up at the block party tonight with fun games and cool prizes. This is such a fun, free event for the community.

There is also a foam cannon and a ton of other things to do.

We’re digging into adventure with this year’s theme — “Unearth a Story!”

Join us every Friday from June 5th through July 31st (except July 3rd) from 10:30–11:30 AM at the Wymore Public Library. Kids ages 5–10 will explore stories, crafts, and discoveries all summer long!
