We had a blast at our Texas Bluebonnet voting breakfast!! These amazing readers read five books from the Bluebonnet nominee list earning the ability to vote on which book they think deserves to win this prestigious award.

THANK YOU to our amazing Harrison PTA!!!
They donated 78 Bluebonnet books to our ELA classroom libraries. Students must read 5 Bluebonnet books to be eligible to vote for the award, so our library Bluebonnet books all have wait lists! This generous donation will give our students more opportunities to read these books!

We had a visitor today, I think he enjoyed his books!
Today I got go to the library and check out books. The librarian was super helpful and found me a book that she thought I would enjoy….. now I’m hungry!

Our Crime Scene creative writing activity has been a blast!!! Check out the 5th grade class stories in the comments. 6th grade stories coming soon!
Students also have the opportunity to write their own stories and submit them for publication in our Harrison Library!
