Another great day at Summer on Stage Jr!! It’s our last day and we learned about improv and did our final rehearsals for choreography and our shows.

Summer on Stage spent the day very busy! Our shows are in the final stages of preparation (yes - on only the 4th day of camp!) and our workshops were epic! We learned strategies for physical storytelling and stage combat from the best in the biz 🎭

Day 4 of Summer on Stage Jr and our devised stories are starting to take shape! Today we learned about acting choices using verbs and creating a set using our designs 🎭

Summer on Stage started today with a BANG! Or actually a thunder strike - and a torrential downpour. But we spent the day learning about stage lighting, artist representation in television and film and also worked really hard on our shows. Even if we were a little damp 🎭

Another fantastic day at Summer on Stage Jr! A little rain couldn’t discourage these artists! Today they learned about costuming while also rehearsing their choreography and their performances 🎭

Day 2 of Summer on Stage and our artists were very busy! They learned stage management, Laban movement, did more staging and lots and lots of technical work 🎭

Another great day for our youngest thespians at Summer on Stage Jr! They spent the day learning about set design, stage props and continued to rehearse for their performances on Friday 🎭

Day 1 for the older campers at Summer on Stage and they hit the ground running! They were measured/fitted for costumes, tested their memorization (they’re all off book!), painted the set, and began blocking their shows 🎭
