Flashback Friday! Looking back to a few months ago to when our eighth graders proudly wore the colors of the high schools they’ll be attending this fall. It was a great snapshot of the exciting journeys ahead!

They now hold the title of St. Elizabeth School alumni, carrying with them the faith, knowledge, friendships, and values that have shaped them during their time at SES.

We couldn’t be prouder of the incredible young men and women they’ve become, and we can’t wait to see all they’ll accomplish. Congratulations, Class of 2026! Your next chapter is just beginning. 🎓🤍💙🏫

What a beautiful afternoon celebrating the incredible career and legacy of retiring principal Mrs. Karen Lewis!

Surrounded by students, families, alumni, faculty, and friends, Mrs. Lewis was honored with three meaningful gifts recognizing her lasting impact: a custom rendering of the St. Elizabeth of Hungary mosaic at our school entrance drawn by parent, SammieJo Jimenez; a new Greenwood Avenue school sign that will serve as a lasting tribute to her legacy; and a $6,400 travel award generously donated by our parents and alumni.

Thank you, Mrs. Lewis, for your unwavering faith, leadership, and love. Your legacy will continue to inspire generations of St. Elizabeth students. Wishing you God's richest blessings in retirement! ✝️🌸💙

A huge thank you to all of the dads who hit the court for our Parent vs. Parent Hoops Game and gave it their all. The action on the court was so intense, it was almost as exciting as the Knicks’ championship-clinching Game 5 win!

From start to finish, our Parent vs. Parent Hoops Game kept fans entertained with plenty of hustle and heart. A special shout-out goes to our student coaches, with the girls leading the White Team and the boys leading Blue. Their enthusiasm and strategy brought incredible energy to the sidelines!

Congratulations to the White Team on their victory and on becoming the first recipients of the George Salameh Memorial Trophy. Named in honor of one of St. E’s beloved dads and a participant in last year’s game, the trophy serves as a meaningful tribute to George’s lasting impact on our community. It was especially touching to have the trophy presented by his son, Zayn.

Thank you to all who played, coached, cheered, and helped make this event such a special celebration of friendship, family, and St. Elizabeth School spirit. 💙🏆🏀🤍

It's been a special season of faith for our second graders! This spring, our second grade class celebrated the Sacrament of First Holy Communion together, receiving Jesus in the Eucharist for the first time. Dressed once again in their beautiful Communion attire, they also participated in our cherished May Crowning ceremony, honoring our Blessed Mother with the entire school community.

We are so proud of these young disciples and pray that they continue to grow in faith, love, and friendship with Christ. May God bless them always! 🙏✝️🌹🤍

SES Dads are the best dads! What a night at the TJ Sullivan Theater! From laugh-out-loud performances to unforgettable costumes, the annual Dads Night once again proved what makes the St. Elizabeth School community so special.

The care, creativity, comedy, camaraderie—and yes, a little chaos—on display made for an evening our students and families will be talking about for years to come. Watching our dads step into the spotlight, leave their dignity at the stage door, and give it their all for the sake of fun and family was truly priceless.

Thank you to our many planners and performers! You reminded us why SES is such a special place to call home. 💙🤣🤍🕺👏🫯

The 4th grade traveled to Trenton for an unforgettable hands-on civics experience! Students began the day by “making a law,” learning how a bill is read, discussed, and voted on…and even celebrating as their bill about cursive instruction successfully passed.

They toured the General Assembly and Senate chambers, visited the Governor’s Office, and explored life at the historic Barracks, where they learned about soldier life and the many roles that support the U.S. Army. The day concluded at the State Museum, where they viewed the original New Jersey Bill of Rights on display in honor of the 250th anniversary of the United States. It was a meaningful day of learning in action! 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙🇺🇸

The 8th grade recently enjoyed an unforgettable class trip to New York City. Their day began with a guided tour of St. Patrick’s Cathedral, where students explored many special areas of the cathedral. They viewed sacred relics, visited the sacristy, stood near the altar, and toured the beautiful church interior. Along the way, they learned about the cathedral’s stunning stained glass windows, the history and construction of the cathedral, and the paintings displayed at the entrance.

After the tour, the class traveled to Chelsea Piers, where they spent time in the Field House bonding as a class. Students enjoyed playing soccer, basketball, and volleyball, and had plenty of fun testing their skills on the jousting equipment in the gymnastics section.

The day ended at Lucky Strike, where everyone enjoyed lunch, bowling, and arcade games together. It was a day filled with learning, laughter, and memories that our 8th graders will never forget! 💙🗽⛪️⚽️🏀🏐🎳
